Just finished up the last adjustments to our music schedules. Now, depending on when you tune in to the always-on VG music stream, there's going to be different stuff playing. We decided to split it up by system, rather than "feeling", as it is much easier to maintain and automate.
So, if you tune in between (all times CST/CDT)... 12 AM - 4 AM: Sega 32X, Sega CD, Sega Dreamcast, Sega Game Gear, Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, Sega Pico, Sega Saturn
4 AM - 8 AM: Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Playstation Portable
8 AM - 12 PM: Nintendo
12 PM - 4 PM: Super Nintendo
4 PM - 8 PM: Arcade, Jaguar, MSX, NeoGeo, Turbografx 16, DSiWare, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Color, Nintendo DS, VirtualBoy, Gamecube, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Wii, WiiWare, iOS, NGage, Xbox, Xbox 360, XBLA
The best part about all this is that each playlist gets updated automatically once a week, early Sunday morning, with any new remixes we upload. This removes the last bit of manual work that was necessary to keep the stream up-to-date. It may not sound like much, but to us, it's very exciting!
