Today was the first day of PAX Dev 2013! Myself and Tormod are in Seattle for the entirety of PAX Dev and PAX Prime this year, 6 days total of awesome, fun, and information. It's kind of a shame I can't really talk about what happened in the panels and discussions (against the rules, and all that), but I understand why that would be in place. That doesn't preclude giving you a general gist of things, though!
I focused mainly on sessions involving marketing and promotion, as well as extending contacts amongst the industry / other indies. There were a couple more technical topics, as well, which were quite informative (and interesting) surrrounding general design and platform choices.
Tomorrow will be just as awesome. I'll do my best to post an update every day, with much more info when we get to Prime (and the gag order is lifted). We're also considering kicking off Journey 3 of Seeking Infinity (finally!) with some PAX recaps once we get back home - I think it'll be a bit much to try while we're still on the road.
