Mobile, mobile, mobile, mobile, rabble, rabble...

It's 6:05 AM on a cold Sunday morning. We were supposed to leave for our house in De Pere. What am I doing? Still waiting on people to wake up. From right now we have only 8 hours until I must return back to where I am now to get family to bed on time at home. What am I doing? Random crap on my phone... I'm writing this post in a note editor, played a couple of games, and caught up on my various social media accounts. No computer necessary. This will be a little plain today since I don't feel like searching for pictures, but whatever. It got me to thinking, "Wow! Mobile devices have really changed my life..."

There is so much you can do with a phone our tablet these days (yet so much you can't). My social media has pretty much switched entirely to Twitter because of how easy it is to use on a phone. I have a plethora of Zombie games I am playing right now on my tablet. They are so addicting! Must eat brains!!!!! Maybe it's my Walking Dead kick I'm on which, oh yeah, I watch on my tablet too. Instant access to email! There is just such a variety of games on mobile. A lot of interesting ideas that make for a fun game.

I play a game called Airport Scanner to pass a lot of time. It's fun and the difficulty ramps up quickly. It is very much a memorization/observation game, and it really challenges me. My memory is a little... meh... On the same token, there is a problem with all of this. I am connected all of the time. This is bad for a person like me who never shut off before being immersed in a mobile world. I spend way too much time on my phone or tablet. It's just too damn addicting!

While I don't have any plans for mobile development, it is probably one of the most important markets right now. I'm always looking for the next great app or game on my devices. I'm sure that many other do the exact same thing. I guess it's in line with developing something you'd play or use. Odds are someone else would like the same thing too.
